The South Lake Tahoe community is rallying around an incredible local family to raise funds and seek support as they navigate a heartbreaking journey. Keely, a compassionate and selfless nurse at Barton Community Hospital, has dedicated her life to caring for others. Today, she and her husband Dylan need all of the support they gain as they embark on the biggest challenge of their lives.
Keely and Dylan’s 2-year-old daughter, Charley, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that affects young children. Charley is a bright, loving little girl who fills her parents’ and identical twin sister’s lives with joy. Despite her young age, she’s facing a long, difficult road of treatment, including chemotherapy, surgeries, and possibly stem cell transplants.
For Keely and Dylan, the diagnosis has been devastating. Keely and her husband are pouring their hearts into ensuring Charley receives the best care possible, but the costs are overwhelming. Between medical expenses, lost income from time off work, and travel for treatments, the financial strain is immense.
Keely has spent years as a nurse, giving her all to care for patients and families in need. Now, it’s our turn to care for her.
We are asking for your generosity to support Charley and her family in this fight. Every donation received will go directly toward medical bills, travel costs, and daily expenses, allowing Keely and her husband to focus on what matters most: being there for Charley every step of the way.
Every dollar helps, and even if financial contributions are not possible, sharing the campaign can make a tremendous difference. Let’s come together as a community to lift this family and show them they are not alone in this fight.
Thank you for your love, kindness, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
