SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported Restore the Blessing: Pizza Party Fundraiser on Sunday, December 7, and to the amazing team at Lake Tahoe Pizza Company for their incredible service, pizza, and generosity.

The turnout from our church and the wider community was truly inspiring, with 124 orders placed throughout the evening—at one point, pizzas were being made at the rate of one per minute, although baking, of course, took a bit longer. Lake Tahoe Pizza Company had $5,814 in sales that night, and they generously rounded up their donation to $6,000 for Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church. Everyone’s support makes a real difference in Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church’s recovery and service to those in need.

.Since 1948, Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church has brought light, love, hope, and peace to our community. Our programs serve people of all ages, and everyone is welcome at our Sunday worship services at 10:00 am. Every week, we help hundreds facing food insecurity through our Wednesday Phoenix Food Pantry and Friday Bread & Broth: Second Serving. Though we’ve faced extreme challenges (a fire, and recently the embezzlement scandal that nearly shut down our church), everyone’s generosity inspires new hope and healing as we work toward full recovery for our church and those we serve.

If you weren’t able to attend the fundraiser, but would like to contribute, simply text RESTORE to 530-201-3555 and follow the secure instructions. Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church is sincerely thankful for everyone’s involvement and for Lake Tahoe Pizza Company’s remarkable donation to our fundraiser.
