With the help of our community, we were able to serve 727 children and over 200 families. Each child who was registered received several toys and a game for their family. I think that is a win!
We were hosted by Mountain House Church this season. The setup was something I could only dream of. In addition, they welcomed us with open arms, volunteered, and set up a room with refreshments to keep our families out of the cold.
Harrah’s, Edgewood and Liberty helped us with financial donations and volunteers. Harrah’s cut a large check at a crucial time – please round up your points when you cash out at a Harrah’s machine.
We had 53 drop boxes out this year. To everyone who volunteered or donated a toy or financially, you are dear to my heart. You helped 727 kids have a better Christmas.
