Since 1997, the Northern Nevada Confederation of Clubs has been able to help make a real difference for literally hundreds of Northern Nevada families in need through the annual Reno Toy Run.
The club says they are realistic about this and while they may not be able to fix everything, they can bring hope to the community. That is the real meaning of Christmas – HOPE.
“We are all neighbors, we are our community, with the help of our partners we did not sit by and think there is nothing we can do about it – We all made it happen here,” said the leadership of the Reno Toy Run.
This year the Reno Toy Run raised over $105,000 and the funds were distributed to nonprofits in Northern Nevada along with $5,000 to Christmas Cheer. The Brotherhood Motorcycle Club of South Lake Tahoe is a member of the Northern Nevada Confederation of Clubs of Clubs and they said they were proud to accept the $5000 check and present it to Christmas Cheer.
