The Lucky Liquor Store on Highway 395 in Gardnerville was robbed on December 26 by a Hispanic man with a small semi-automatic weapon.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect walked into the liquor store at 8:30 pm and demanded money from the store employee. The robber is described as a Hispanic male, 30 to 35 years of age, 6’ tall, 250 pounds wearing a black jacket with a hood and black shorts. The lower part of his face was covered by a red bandana. He used a small semi-automatic silver and black pistol to commit the robbery.
The victim, pushed the alarm button and the male fled but, not without grabbing a bottle of liquor from the shelf.
The victim watched the male exit the store and run in an Easterly direction down Toler Lane with a second male,
