The South Lake Tahoe City Council will hold a special meeting Dec. 27 to discuss options available for filling the vacancy of Claire Fortier who resigned effective Dec. 14. Fortier’s much-anticipated resignation was because her spouse has relocated to Redmond, Wash.
The 9 a.m. meeting will be at the City Council Chambers, 1901 Airport Road, South Lake Tahoe. Councilwoman JoAnn Conner will be out of the area and will participate via teleconference.
