During Tuesday’s City Council the most recent group of graduates from the South Lake Tahoe Citizen’s Academy received their certificates from Mayor Hal Cole.
The Academy gives locals a chance to increase their knowledge about their government and become more involved in the future development of the community.
Held twice a year, the participants attend sessions once a week for six weeks, covering topics such as parks & recreation, fire and police, and others.
