A 77-year-old Wisconsin woman has died from injuries received after hitting a tree while skiing at Heavenly Mountain Resort on February 16, 2016.
Kathryn Strangman of Madison, Wisconsin had been skiing on the Nevada side of the resort when she hit a tree. Ski Patrol attempted lifesaving treatment according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Sgt. Pat Brooks of the department said an autopsy is scheduled and the investigation is continuing.
