The man dubbed the “Bandaged Bandit” is being sought by the FBI in a string of armed bank robberies that started with the South Shore robbery of US Bank on June 29.

Three additional banks were robbed after the Stateline one.

Two banks in El Dorado Hills were robbed on July 1 and July 14, and another one in Folsom on July 15, all apparently by the same suspect who affixes bandages to his nose, chin and arms.

At the Stateline Robbery of U.S. Bank, the suspect carried a handgun and passed a note to the teller demanding money but guns have not been reported in the other three robberies.

The suspect is believed to be in his mid-20s, between t’8″ and 5’10” with a large build.

If anyone has information about the suspect or bank robberies they are asked to contact the FBI at 1-800-885-5984.
