SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – After the week starts with a Red Flag Warning, things should calm down as the upper air trough moves east. This is
followed by a return to seasonably warm temperatures for the remainder of the work week along with closer-to-normal temperatures by the weekend.

The weekly forecast for South Lake Tahoe from the National Weather Serivce in Reno:

Labor Day – Sunny, with a high near 80. South wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Monday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 46. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

Tuesday – Sunny, with a high near 83. Calm wind from the west around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night – Clear, with a low of around 48. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.

Wednesday – Sunny, with a high near 85. Calm wind coming from the west at around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night – Mostly clear, with a low of around 51.

Thursday – Sunny, with a high near 87.

Thursday Night – Mostly clear, with a low of around 51.

Friday – Mostly sunny, with a high near 84.

Friday Night – Partly cloudy, with a low around 49.

Saturday – Sunny, with a high near 81.
