SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – There is a Winter Weather Advisory issued for the Greater Lake Tahoe area and Mono County, including Coleville, Truckee, Incline Village, South Lake Tahoe, Lee Vining, Tahoe City, Bridgeport, Stateline, Mammoth Lakes, Glenbrook, and Markleeville. It is in effect from 10 p.m. Saturday to 4 p.m. Monday. This is the first wave of storms for the Sierra with next one arriving Tuesday night.
Lake level will not see much snow, with Eastern California communities along SR395 and upper elevations along the Sierra Crest seeing measurable amounts. South Lake Tahoe could see about an inch of snow, with 2 to 4 inches along Highway 395. Accumulations of 5 to 10 inches along the Sierra Crest, including Donner Summit and Echo Summit. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph over ridges.

Snow likely, mainly before 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
