Clean Up The Lake’s inaugural Polar Plunge happened on Saturday, May 10 at Lakeside Beach — and thanks to everyone who came down to join us and supported the cause financially, the event was a massive success with over 60 plungers that helped raise upwards of $31,000!

The funds raised will go towards Clean Up The Lake’s charitable mission to activate our local communities in joining us to take action to protect the environment both above and below the surface!

Thanks to an incredible $15,000 donation from an anonymous donor—along with $5,000 contributions from both Lake Tahoe Community College and Hovatter Farms, $2,500 from Lakeside Park Association who graciously hosted us on their beach, and more than $3,000 in public support—we’re thrilled to share that our first-ever Polar Plunge raised a total of $31,110!

If you’ve been meaning to give but haven’t yet — we could always use your support!
