5/20 update: Five Below will officially open on Friday, May 23, and to celebrate, the store will host a festive weekend filled with fun, music, kids’ activities, and special prizes. On Saturday, May 24, the hot dogs and free bags (while supplies last) will be given away from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Another new retailer is opening its doors in South Lake Tahoe. Five Below, the store known for items normally priced between $1 and $5, will hold its grand opening celebration on Saturday, May 24, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
It is located in the old Kmart center at the Y, where Sierra just opened its first Lake Tahoe store. Ulta is currently working on the space next door to bring another new retailer to the community.
Five Below will have activities and trivia with prizes all weekend long, but the celebration with free hot dogs and a free drawstring bag as they open their doors for the first time is on Saturday only.
