SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue (SLTFR) is hosting it’s 11th annual Wildfire Safety Expo on Saturday, May 24 at the South Tahoe Middle School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The free event will feature several different agencies that will be on hand to demonstrate and provide valuable fire-safe information. All local fire agencies will be joined by the California Highway Patrol, South Lake Tahoe Police Department, El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, Liberty, Southwest Gas, South Tahoe Refuse, South Tahoe Public Utility District, Tahoe Fire & Fuels Team, the Forest Service, and many others.
Smokey Bear and Captain Cal will also be at the expo.
South Tahoe Middle School is located at 2940 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe.
