SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The community is invited to join the Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) for a historic celebration — the school’s 50th anniversary commencement ceremony on Friday, June 27, at 6 p.m. on the campus soccer field.

This special occasion honors the remarkable accomplishments of the graduating class and marks the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and achievement. As LTCC commemorates this milestone, they come together to recognize the graduates and support them as they begin their next chapter.

The keynote speaker will be South Lake Tahoe City Manager, Joe Irvin, who is the first to be featured in Lake Tahoe Community College’s 50 Awesome Alumni recognition. He graduated in 2003 after three years of study at LTCC, then transferred to California State University, Channel Islands, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to receive a Master of Public Administration from Evergreen State College in Washington State. He later completed an executive management program at the University of Virginia’s Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service.

LTCC welcomes the public to be part of this community celebration.
