SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Could you help a teacher prepare for the coming school year? It’s hard to believe, but it’s that time of year again to start preparing for “Back to School!” Every year, we know that teachers spend a lot out of pocket to outfit their classrooms and to ensure that all of their students have the supplies that they need to succeed in school.
Once again, the South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® Young Professionals Network (STAR YPN) is coordinating with local teachers to support their classrooms. It works a lot like a wedding or baby shower registry – teachers have set up Amazon Wishlists with the items they want & need for their classrooms and students and have set up where they’d like items shipped. We published those Wishlist links on a page on our website for our members and the general public to go online and fulfill.
Just choose a teacher and their classroom, click the link, select items from their Wishlist that you’re willing to purchase on their behalf, and then select the preferred shipping address set up by the teacher. Then, go to your cart, check-out and you’re done! Those boxes with a smile on them arrive at the teacher’s home or school, and they take it from there. It’s that simple!
