SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Registration is now open for the Soroptimist Kids Pumpkin Run on Sunday, October 19. This is a special race during the Lake Tahoe Marathon that is just for little pumpkins ages 1 to 10. Races are divided by one-year age groups, and every child will receive a pumpkin and a finisher’s medal. Thanks to the Soroptimists and the Lake Tahoe Marathon, this event is entirely free.

Very Scary 5K – Saturday, October 18, 10:30 AM
Runs from Dollar Hill to Commons Beach in Tahoe City.
Super Hero 5K – Sunday, October 19, 10:30 AM
Starts at Regan Beach and finishes with the marathon events at Lakeside Beach in South Lake Tahoe. Runners in costume get a one-minute head start!
The Super Hero 5K has an entry fee, but locals receive 10% off any Lake Tahoe Marathon event with promo code: Local when registering online.
