SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation (LTEF) has announced the implementation of a new scholarship program designed to support current LTUSD employees on their path to becoming credentialed teachers. In early 2025, with help from the Tahoe Women’s Community Fund, LTEF started the Future Teachers Scholarship Program (FTS) to ensure there are “homegrown teachers” who will live and work in South Tahoe for the next generation.

LTEF is also in the midst of its Fall fundraising drive. Your donation will help open doors for dedicated staff members who are ready to take the next step in serving our students and schools.
