NV Energy has issued a PSOM Warning for four zones in Northern Nevada from approximately midnight Thursday to 4 p.m. Friday, December 19.
- South Carson – Clear Creek
- Carson – Jack’s Valley – Genoa North
- Glenbrook – East Spooner
- Genoa South
A Public Safety Outage Management (PSOM) Warning means a proactive power outage is likely to occur due to forecast winds. A Lake Wind Advisory is in effect from 4 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday, and a Wind Advisory from 4 a.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday for Lake Tahoe.

A Customer Resource Center (CRC) will be available from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19 at the East Fork Fire Station #3, 2298 Main Street, Genoa, NV 89411. Affected customers may visit the CRC for water, ice, snacks, and charging stations for electronic devices.
