INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. – Wildslide Tahoe Tubing Center at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe will open for the first time on Tuesday, Dec. 30. The largest tubing operation on the West Coast, the resort’s new offering features up to 20 snow tubing lanes that are 750-feet long and served by a dual conveyor lift. The new recreation area also includes dedicated snowmaking, its own lodge with indoor and outdoor deck seating, and on-site parking.
“Wildslide Tahoe Tubing is going to offer guests of all ages a fun opportunity to play in the snow, and we’re thrilled to celebrate its grand opening,” said Mike Pierce, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe marketing director. “This new facility is going to make it easy for people to be introduced to an exhilarating winter experience, and with five feet of new snow over the past few days, Wildslide and Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe are dialed up for winter!”
Snow tubing will be offered daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 30, 2025 – Jan. 4, 2026, then Friday through Sunday plus holidays for the remainder of the winter season. Although designed for guests of all ages, small children must be able to ride independently in their own tube.
Sessions are sold in two-hour increments, with sessions starting every 15 minutes. Tickets are available for $45 for adults ages 16+, $35 for kids ages 4-15. Tickets are subject to sellout and can be purchased online up to a day in advance, or on-site at the Wildslide Lodge only. Group and corporate event booking opportunities are also available, with private midweek buyouts available Monday through Thursday.
For those who need a warm-up, the Wildslide Lodge offers food and beverage service, including hot cocoa as well as apres beverages for guests ages 21+. And, for added convenience, the resort’s new Wildslide Tahoe Tubing Center parking lot provides over 350 parking spaces, direct access to the tubing lanes, and is located ¾ of a mile west of the Mt. Rose Main Lodge entrance (22600 State Route 431).
