Scott Hale Glaze passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 28th, 2025, in Carson City, Nevada.

Scott was born in Vancouver, Washington, on June 15th, 1982, to Jerry Frank Glaze and Sandra Sue Presley.

He was the baby of the family and spent his childhood getting into mischief with his brother. While going to high school in La Pine, Oregon, he played football, a sincere passion that brought him joy and true friends for life. He graduated and went on to get his associate’s degree.

In 2004, Scott met the love of his life, Starlet. They created a beautiful life of love and laughter together.

Scott took pride in his work. He worked as a heavy-duty mechanic for the South Tahoe Public Utility District for the last nine years. He valued his coworkers and counted them as friends.

He was a devoted dog dad who adored his pups, Holly and Blue, and in turn, they adored him.

Scott always knew how to make people laugh, never knew an enemy, and loved his family fiercely.

He is survived by his father, Jerry; his wife, Starlet; his brother, Jason; his sisters, Denell and Darcy; his stepsons, Devon and Tyler; his mother-in-law, Sandra; and his nieces and nephews, whom he loved deeply. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra.

Scott’s celebration of life will be held on January 23 at the Carson Valley Inn in the Douglas banquet room. Doors will be open at noon with snacks and a no-host bar. Service will begin around 1-1:30 p.m.
