SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – This year marks Tahoe Women’s Community Fund’s (TWCF) 11th year of granting to support nonprofits serving the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Thanks to the generosity of new and returning members, as well as matching dollars from Super Sponsors, TWCF will be awarding a total of $120,000 in Focus and Impact Grants!
Any nonprofit serving the South Shore may apply during this granting cycle (From Feb. 12 -March 10), but nonprofits may only apply for ONE grant in ONE Area of Need, and as always, nonprofits that received a grant in 2025 are ineligible to apply for this cycle (they can reapply in 2027).
The 2026 grant structure will include:
- Four or more Focus Grants up to $10,000 each for the Poverty, Housing, & Basic Needs Area of Need
- Three or more Focus Grants up to $10,000 each for the Education Area of Need.
- Two or more Impact Grants up to $10,000 each for the Physical & Mental Wellness Area of Need
- Two or more Impact Grants up to $10,000 each for the Community Programs, Culture, & Arts Area of Need
- One or more grants up to $10,000 for the Environment & Animals Area of Need will also be awarded.
Request for Proposals (RFPs or grant applications) will be available on Feb. 12, 2026 (due on March 10th) on the TWCF website (www.tahoewomenscommunityfund.org).
