ZEPHYR COVE, Nev. – The 2026 season is underway at Zephyr Cove Tennis Club
(ZCTC), South Lake Tahoe’s premier public tennis facility, and there’s something for
everyone. Whether you’ve never held a racket, want your kids to fall in love with the
sport, or are looking for a fun community to play with all summer long — ZCTC has you covered.
Located at 233 Warrior Way inside Zephyr Cove Park, ZCTC features six lighted tennis courts, a pro shop, USTA leagues, tournaments, clinics, and a full calendar of social events. The club is open to the public and welcomes all ages and skill levels. Annual memberships start at just $130 and include unlimited court access, discounted clinics and camps, and free admission to signature events — for information on the club and all of the programs, visit zctennis.com.
There are new programs for adults and kids, a free junior clinic, and a season-opening party —there’s never been a better time to pick up a racket.
Kick Off the Season: Viva La Tennis — Monday, May 25
The season officially opens with Viva La Tennis, ZCTC’s beloved annual mixer, on
Monday, May 25, from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm. It’s a festive afternoon of tennis, fun, and
community — a perfect way to meet fellow players and celebrate the start of summer. This event is exclusively for ZCTC members, but you can join at the event!
Free Junior Tennis Clinic — Saturday, June 6
Every year ZCTC opens its courts to the community with a completely free tennis clinic for kids ages 5–12. This year’s clinic is Saturday, June 6, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, open to youth throughout the Lake Tahoe Basin and Carson Valley. USTA Pro and Head Coach, Dave Nostrant, leads the instruction with help from club members. Rackets are available to borrow. Afterwards, kids are treated to pizza and cookies. Parents must stay for the duration. Registration is required and space is limited to 50 kids. Sign up at online at zctennis.com/schedule/junior-tennis/.
