SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – South Lake Tahoe’s event and production company, We Are Rooted, is celebrating its second anniversary at the historic Rojo’s Tavern on Saturday, June 13, 2026. This year’s celebration is especially meaningful as it will be held as a benefit for community member and dear friend of many, Diane Hanes, who is currently fighting breast cancer. All proceeds will go directly to Diane to help with expenses during this challenging time.
The night brings together the owners of six South Lake Tahoe music collectives for a powerful, community‑driven DJ event: We Are Rooted, Station Seven Productions, DB Club, Uziak & Friends, Tahoe Techno Collective, and Lunaticos. Expect a multi‑genre lineup centered on unity, love, and the strength that comes from showing up for one another. Electronic music isn’t just about the party — it’s about the people. That’s the foundation of We Are Rooted.
The cost is $15 at the door. Rojo’s is located at 3091 Harrison Ave, South Lake Tahoe.
Additionally, Lake Tahoe Markets, Tahoe’s Only Online Farmers Market, a locally owned business deeply rooted in the Tahoe Basin, will be contributing a portion of this week’s Market Bag sales directly to Diane, extending the spirit of support beyond the event itself and into the homes of everyone who shops local.
