Two suspects are being sought by the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office (EDSO) for three attempted robberies in Cameron Park and Placerville October 9-10.

The first attempt occurred on October 9 at the CVS store on Palmer Drive in Cameron Park. At about 7:00 p.m., two male suspects entered the store and attempted to rob the pharmacy. They jumped the pharmacy counter and demanded narcotics. When they were not given the medication, the two suspects fled the store.

The suspects were described as two black male adults in their 20’s, wearing black hooded sweatshirts. One of the suspects looked to have dreadlocks.

At about 12:22 p.m. on October 10, two men who appear to be the same suspects entered the Walgreens on Plaza Goldorado in Cameron Park and the same actions occurred. They jumped the pharmacy counter and demanded narcotics. When they did not receive what they asked for, the suspects once again fled the scene.

About 40 minutes later, two people matching the same description as the prior two attempted robberies, entered the Walgreens on Missouri Flat Road in Placerville. Walgreens management had been notified of the prior attempted robberies and were told to be on the look-out. Employees saw two people matching the description, walk toward the front entrance of the store. Walgreens staff approached the suspects as they entered. The suspects then fled the scene, prior to law enforcement’s arrival.

The suspects are still outstanding. If anyone can identify the two suspects please contact El Dorado County Sheriff’s Detective Simon Brown at (530) 642-4703.
