SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Vista Rise Collective is teaming up with South Lake Brewing Company to present Drag Bingo on Saturday, October 17, at 6:30 p.m. Hosted by The Twampsons, the evening pairs live drag performances with rounds of bingo and a raffle. With October officially recognized by City Council as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, now is the time to raise crucial funds for local survivors.
Admission to the performances is free! Guests who want to play Bingo can purchase a $25 package that includes one bingo card for each game and one raffle ticket. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. at South Lake Brewing Company, 1920 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Players must be 18 or older, and guests are encouraged to bring cash to tip the queens!
“Drag Bingo is a chance to gather, laugh and celebrate this community in a space where everyone is welcome,” said Chelcee Thomas, executive director of Vista Rise Collective. “Every conversation about safety and healthy relationships starts with connection, and an evening like this helps neighbors show up for each other in a fun, inclusive environment.”
Proceeds from bingo cards and raffle tickets will support Vista Rise Collective’s crisis intervention, advocacy and prevention education programs for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in South Lake Tahoe and Alpine County.
