SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The last remains of a wet weather system have left the Lake Tahoe Basin, with Monday letting the area dry out with highs into the 50s, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno.

An eastern Pacific low will quickly pass through the region on Tuesday, increasing winds and shower chances as it does so.

After Tuesday, ensembles remain keen on a several-day stint of dry and mild weather leading up to Veterans Day, says NWS Reno. A couple of trough passages to the north may produce occasional breezy periods during this time, but nothing too significant. There is still a consistent signal for a windier and wetter pattern to emerge around and after Veterans Day, so certainty worth keeping in mind if you have travel or outdoor plans around the middle of the month.
