Bike Safety and Awareness Class for whole family

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The community is invited to a free Bike Safety and Awareness Class on Saturday, September 27, from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Lake Tahoe Community College. The CONNECT program is offering this event for all ages. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The program will be led by Tasha Thomas, the USA Cycling Coach and Lake Tahoe Unified School District Physical Education Teacher, in partnership with the Lake Tahoe Bike Coalition. This is what participants will be learning:

• Safe street riding and best routes to school
• E-Bike Safety & Defensive Riding Skills
• Interactive bike riding skills course
