COLLAGE, FOUND OBJECTS, AND MIXED MEDIA CLASS WITH KIM SCHAFER

This class will teach you how to convey feelings and experiences using collage. We will examine the historical development of collage and its importance within the broader context of art history.

The class will be held at the Tahoe Art League on Thursday, June 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The teacher will also be distributing magazines, books, and other documents for your reference and use. Interested students should start collecting found objects or ephemera they think would be interesting to add to their collage. It doesn’t have to be paper, ie – key, found penny, any item that can be glued into their art.
