Introduction to Modern Western Square Dancing

Carson Valley Squares is hosting another Introduction to Modern Western Square Dancing on October 17 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This is a great family-friendly event! (Ages 12 and up. Younger kids are possible if parents think they can dance.)

We’re working on building interest for a regular weekly class to teach Beginning Square Dancing (aka Mainstream). Homeschoolers are most welcome, as they can get PE credits for attending a class. We dance to all genres of music from artists such as Thomas Rhett, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, as well as other popular music from the 60’s to today. Come join caller Scott Olson as he introduces you to Modern Western Square Dancing!
