Living History Program at the Valhalla Boathouse Theater

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The next free Living History program at Valhalla Tahoe will be on Tuesday, August 12, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. – Death Valley Scotty-Fact, Fiction and Fable. Join them for another free performance in the Boathouse Theatre, as historians David & Gayle Woodruff step into the roles of “Death Valley Scotty” and the ever-proper Bessie Johnson in Death Valley Scotty: Fact, Fiction, and Fable. This 70-minute Chautauqua-style presentation dives into the wild, mysterious, and often hilarious tales that made Walter Scott a desert legend—and kept historians guessing for decades. The Valhalla Boathouse Theater is located at 1 Valhalla Road, South Lake Tahoe, just north of the Camp Richardson Hotel.
