Please be safe – stay on the sidewalks and utilize crosswalks\,” said organizers. \nThe 50501 grassroots organization is spearheading the nationwide protests under the slogan of “50 protests\, 50 states\, 1 movement.” They hope to bring people together as a “sustained resistance in order to make a difference.” Local activists organize the protests in their own communities\, as they are in South lake Tahoe.
