SUMMARY:4th annual Witch Paddle in South Lake Tahoe
DESCRIPTION:SOUTH LAKE TAHOE\, Calif. – It’s that time again! The 4th annual Witch Paddle is happening on Saturday\, September 27. There were over 400 people last year\, with at least 150 on boards and kayaks\, and the organizer wants to make this year bigger and better! While normally on the first Saturday of October\, Kelsey Adams moved the event up so all the locals could enjoy this event as well as Oktoberfest and Witches Night Out\, which are both next weekend. \nKelsey is happy to announce she has received a major donation of a blow-up Paddle Board with pump and bag from Francesca with Movement Connect as a prize for best costume! She’s a personal trainer who works with patients with chronic pain and Kelsey says she is beyond thrilled to have this amazing donation. \nSCHEDULE\n1 p.m. – Meet and greet and grab a drink! Blow up your paddles and eat a treat! (Tiki Bar is open)\n2 p.m. – GROUP PHOTO!\n2:15 p.m. – Costume Contest\n2:30 p.m. – Paddle!!! \n\nWomen\, men\, children and pets are all welcome. \nMake it a full beach day. Bring drinks and food. Many stay to enjoy the sunset\, weather permitting. It’s looking to be the last warm Saturday of the season. \nBeach Retreat and Lodge is the location. Please do not park in their hotel parking\, but utilize parking in nearby lots or on Johnson Blvd. If crossing the street\, make sure you use the crosswalk (you may drop off your board/kayaks first). \nBring your own board or more if you’d like to share. Please wear a witch costume even if it’s basic! Bring friends\, kids\, and dogs\, please!!! DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH WHEN ON THE BEACH! \nWe are trying to keep it only paddle boards but understand some people are not physically able. If that’s the case\, bring a kayak as the group wants people to be able to participate. If you’d like to dress up and join people on the beach\, that would be fantastic support. \nThere will be a COSTUME CONTEST! If you’d like to donate as a business\, please let Kelsey know. People have also been donating money on Venmo to help purchase items for the event. \n“Everything is appreciated\,” said Kelsey. \nThere will also be people taking photos and filming\, so please be aware of this – if it makes you uncomfortable\, please do not attend. Please make sure to abide by local laws and have life jackets present and on children. \nContact 530\,318\,7008 or kelsey-adams@live.com for more information.
