Go Fund Me fundraiser started to keep Glazed and Confuzed Tahoe Donut/Ladles By the Lake open

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The Glazed Ladles team said they are proud of how they've grown their brands and businesses: Glazed and Confuzed Tahoe Donut and Ladles By the Lake: A Tahoe Soup Company in South Lake Tahoe.

However, as they prepare to celebrate their five-year anniversary as business owners (just eight weeks away) they're reaching out to the community for support to keep their doors open.

The fundraiser states, "We stood up against COVID-19, we stood up against personal health issues, we stood up against months of unbearable smoke, we stood up against wildfire evacuations and last, but not least, a record-breaking month of snow in December It’s not said and done yet, as we are pending an extension on our current SBA COVID-19 EIDL loan and trust us, the waiting is chest-pounding."

Glazed and Confused started at the Tahoe Seasons Resort where they offered delivery. They then moved to the Tahoe Beach Retreat where they began their road into retail. They had a big following and good momentum when they moved into their own storefront adjacent to Tahoe Wellness.

They launched a GoFundMe to help pay off some outstanding end-of-year invoices and have been temporarily closed since the beginning of the month causing a shortage in livable funds. So far they are about one-third of the way towards their $6,345 goal.
