Man allegedly pours gasoline on girlfriend, sets her on fire

A Cameron Park, Calif., man was arrested late Thursday night after allegedly pouring gasoline on his girlfriend, then setting her on fire during the course of a domestic argument.
On February 4, deputies from the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office responded to several 911 calls reporting a woman screaming in the 2700 block of La Crescenta Drive in Cameron Park.
When deputies arrived they found a woman with serious burns to her lower body. She was transported to an emergency room burn unit for treatment.
28-year-old old Curtis Menezes, the woman’s boyfriend, was arrested on charges that included assault with a caustic chemical. Menezes was transported to the Placerville jail where he is being held on $100,000 bail.
