Kudos: Thank you to all for successful 8th annual Dancing with the Tahoe Stars

Thank you to everyone who attended the 8th annual Dancing with the Tahoe Stars to support Tahoe Arts Project (TAP). This is TAP’s major fundraiser for the year and all proceeds go towards professional performing arts programs in the schools and community. Over 4,500 K-12th grade students benefit from TAP’s programs. TAP also supports our local youth by providing scholarships to South Tahoe High and Lake Tahoe Community College students, scholarships to Sugar Loaf Fine Arts Camp, financial support to Tahoe Valley Elementary and South Tahoe Middle School’s theater arts programs, sponsorship for 360 3rd grade students to attend Trails and Vistas Art and Nature Hike at Sand Harbor, funding to support a 6-week drumming program at Mt. Tallac with Liz Broscoe and free community performances.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in Dancing with the Tahoe Stars. Jeff DeFranco and Robyn Rasmussen were the big money raisers bringing in over $28,000 in donations, sponsorships and ticket sales! Bridey Heidel and Heather Dominguez were the first place dancers and brought home the mirror ball trophy. TAP appreciates the support from all the sponsors, everyone who donated to their favorite couple and of course all of you who bought tickets.
