Warming into the 60s at Lake Tahoe this week, then, chances of rain and upper-level snow

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - There will be a more springlike weather pattern over the Lake Tahoe Basin for a few days, warming temperatures to above-normal levels by midweek. However, as is often the case this time
of year, the weather can change quickly. There is an increasing likelihood for another storm that will bring increasing wind, chances for showers, and cooler temperatures late week into next weekend.

The weekly forecast for South Lake Tahoe from the National Weather Service in Reno:

Monday - Sunny, with a high near 46. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Monday Night - Clear, with a low of around 26. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming southeast after midnight.

Tuesday - Sunny, with a high near 58. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 33. North wind around 5 mph, becoming calm.

Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 63. Calm wind becoming east around 5
mph.

Wednesday Night - Partly cloudy, with a low of around 36.

Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 63.

Thursday Night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 35.

Friday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 53.

Friday Night - A slight chance of rain and snow. Snow level 7500 feet lowering to 6400 feet after midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low of around 25.

Saturday - A slight chance of rain and snow. Mostly sunny, with a high near 48.

Saturday Night - Partly cloudy, with a low of around 25.
