Rotary holds entrepreneurial keynote program at Tahoe Blue Event Center

STATELINE, Nev. - The two Rotary Clubs on the South Shore are jointly inviting the public to hear from local spirits entrepreneur, Matt Levitt, this Thursday evening at the Tahoe Blue Event Center. The impact of Mr. Levitt’s popular vodka brand and their sponsorship of the community’s new event location carries a story that the public should hear, both clubs shared.

The Rotary Club of South Lake Tahoe and the Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club organized this event after a successful dual-club event at the Tahoe Blue Event Center in early March.

“Most Rotarians are business owners or share a leadership role in their craft as part of their involvement in their club,” said Tim Williams, president of the Tahoe Douglas club. “If we can help our community by organizing inspiring talks like Matt’s, it will benefit current and future entrepreneurs in Tahoe."

Mr. Levitt is expected to give a thorough historical account of his rise in the spirits world, filled with the hurdles and successes needed to start such a visible brand in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

“This area has so many great stories, and we’re thankful that Matt will be bringing his to life for us in such a great venue,” Williams added.

Together, the two Rotary clubs have just over 60 members in the South Lake Tahoe/Stateline area. They hope that public engagement like this will also help local businesspeople know more about Rotary as the largest international service club with just over 1.4 Million members globally.

The event’s doors will open at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 2, with a no-host bar including Tahoe Blue signature drinks. The evening's program will begin around 6:15 along with heavy appetizers and should be completed by 7:30. Tickets can be purchased online at linktr.ee/tdrotary for $25 each. Pre-paid parking passes can also be purchased for $15 at the same link. Ticket sales will close at 5 p.m. Monday, April 29, so interested people should purchase quickly.
