SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Typical autumn conditions are expected into mid-week with dry and warm days, cool nights, and occasional gusty winds. Low pressure coming in off the Pacific Friday and into next weekend could bring
stronger winds, much cooler temperatures, and even some light showers.
Rather tranquil weather for much of this coming week with warm days, cool nights, and dry conditions, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno. Take advantage of this for outdoor activities and projects. Westerly breezes this afternoon/evening will become light and variable Monday-Tuesday. Starting Friday and into the next weekend, notable cooling is possible with stronger winds, and even some light precipitation. If stronger winds, critical fire weather conditions and travel impacts would be possible.
