After an extensive search and interview process the Tahoe Resource Conservation District board of directors has unanimously appointed Nicole Cartwright as its Executive Director to lead the agency.
Ms. Cartwright has been with the agency for ten years and has served the Tahoe RCD in a variety of increasingly responsible positions.
"We are thrilled to appoint Nicole as the new Executive Director and we look forward to her enthusiasm and excitement in leading the agency" stated Carl Ribaudo Tahoe RCD Board President. "Her love for Lake Tahoe, passion for the mission of the agency, and professional drive combined with the chemistry of our very talented staff make her a natural choice."
It is anticipated she will start the new position within the next several weeks.
Tahoe Resource Conservation District’s mission is to promote conservation, stewardship and knowledge of the Lake Tahoe Region’s natural resources by providing leadership and innovative environmental services to all stakeholders.
