Two more cars stolen in South Lake Tahoe

As reported last week, there were four stolen cars in South Lake Tahoe between September 10 and 15.
A 21-year-old transient Tarra Sheffield was arrested for stealing one of those cars. The South Lake Tahoe Police Department said she had evidence to other stolen cars when arrested.
All of the stolen cars have been recovered, the latest being a Ford Truck that was found in Reno. There are no suspects in that case.
On September 18, a car that was valet parked at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel was reported stolen at 7 p.m. when the owner went to retrieve it. The car is a 2015 Jeep Cherokee 4-door with Tennessee plates V09384.
The next day, September 19, at 9:22 a.m., another car parked with Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel's valet turned up missing. It is a 2015 Toyota Rav 4 with California plates 7HCE583.
The investigation is continuing. If anyone has information into any of the recent stolen car cases, call the SLTPD at 530-542-6100.
