Ice hockey returns to South Lake Tahoe - Lake Tahoe Lakers home opener

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Junior Hockey is back for another season as your Lake Tahoe Lakers gear up for their home opener this Friday night at 7:30 p.m. The Lakers will take on the Ontario Jr Reign who are fresh off a resounding win over Long Beach last weekend. This should be a great match up so don't miss out on all the action, especially their "Score for Charity" pre-game event.
In support of our local charities, participants will shoot from center ice and see if they can score into a puck-sized goal. If no goals are scored, the donation increases and there will be another attempt at the next homestand.
Puck drops at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 29, and Saturday, September 30, and at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 2. All games will be played at the Tahoe Ice Arena, 1176 Rufus Allen Blvd. Ticket prices start at $10.
