South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue incidents for week

The following is a list of all 911 calls received by South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue (SLTFR) from October 1 to October 7, 2015.

October 1, 2015: 5 calls: 3 EMS calls, 1 call for unauthorized burning, 1 call for CO2 detector being activated due to malfunction.

October 2, 2015: 8 calls: 5 EMS calls, 1 call for natural gas leak, 1 call canceled en route, 1 interfacility transfer.

October 3, 2015: 11 calls: 7 EMS calls, 1 false alarm, 1 canceled en route, 1 service call "other," 1 unauthorized burning.

October 4, 2015: 5 calls: 2 EMS calls, 1 vehicle accident with injuries, 1 canceled en route, 1 public service call.

October 5, 2015: 9 calls: 7 EMS calls, 1 cooking fire contained, 1 interfacility transfer.

October 6, 2015: 5 calls: 3 EMS calls, 1 false alarm, 1 public service assistance.

October 7, 2015: 6 calls: 5 EMS calls, 1 call to wrong location.

Calls of Note:

On October 1, 2015 at 2:55 a.m., SLTFR responded to the same address where they had been at 9:42 p.m. the night before in response to a bonfire in the 3600 block of Alder Avenue. They found a man burning slash at that time and informed him that this task was illegal in the city limits. Five hours later, SLTFR responded to the same address and found a man under the influence with a bonfire.

On October 3, 2015 at 12:37 p.m. in the 700 block of Gardner Street, SLTFR responded to a call of unauthorized burning. When they arrived they found a legal barbeque.
