Kudos: Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty hosts Bread & Broth meal

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Exceptional service is the trademark of a successful realtor in today’s housing market and the members of the Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty brought their talent to provide outstanding service to the dinner guests at Bread & Broth’s Monday Meal on October 30.

Sponsoring their fourth Adopt A Day (AAD) of the year, the Sierra Sotheby’s crew helped the Bread & Broth volunteers serve the 93 attending dinner guests a hot meal of chicken piccata, rice, a steamed assortment of vegetables, a fresh garden salad, and a tasty variety of cakes and pies.

The Sierra Sotheby’s AAD crew had a very busy evening manning the serving line. In addition to the 93 first servings, they dished out 21 second servings, and 15 ‘to go’ containers, probably the largest number of meals served since Bread & Broth resumed serving hot meals in April of 2022 when pandemic restrictions were lifted.

“It is wonderful to be able to serve our community and we are grateful to work with all of the dedicated Bread & Broth volunteers,” commented Andrea King. Joining Andrea were fellow Sierra Sotheby’s team members Ellen Camacho, Lorie Chapman, and Hailey Mitchell, all of whom have volunteered as an Adopt A Day sponsor team member in the last year and a half.

Bread & Broth is proud of the fact that the majority of our Adopt A Day of Nourishment sponsors are repeat sponsors and volunteers. Helping others is a rewarding experience and serving a hot nutritious meal is heartwarming to both the diners and those doing the serving.
