Carson City man in jail after allegedly stabbing Douglas County man multiple times

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - A Carson City man was arrested Monday after allegedly stabbing a Douglas County man in the 800 block of Mica Drive.

On November 14, 2022, at approximately 10:45 a.m., deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) were called to the Indian Hills home for a report of a stabbing. When the deputies arrived they found a male victim with multiple stab wounds to the torso. He was transported via Care Flight to Renown Medical center for treatment. His current condition is unknown.

Deputies found Efrain Gonzales-Magana, a 29-year-old male from Carson City, still on the scene.

Based on the results of an investigation, DCSO arrested Gonzales-Magana who was then booked into the Douglas County Jail for Attempted Murder and Battery with a Deadly Weapon Causing Substantial Bodily Harm. His bail has been set at $125,006.

The victim will not be identified at this time, according to DCSO.
