Four arrested in Douglas County on drug trafficking charges

Undercover narcotics officers were able to purchase 170 grams of Heroin, 50 grams of Methamphetamine, and one handgun during an investigation into drug and gun runners trying to set up shop in Douglas County.
The investigation, which lasted several months, began when the Douglas County Street Enforcement Tea (DCSET) learned that four drug dealers from Stockton, Calif., were attempting to sell drugs and firearms in the area.
On December 9, 2015, DCSET was joined by the Tri-Net Taskforce and Nevada National Guard’s Counterdrug Task Force in making four arrests for alleged trafficking and sales of narcotics.
Carlos Honable, 23, William Anyaogu Elendu, also 23, Joseph Kieshawn Gaines, 26, and Bryan Alexander Harrison, 24, were are arrested and booked into the Douglas County jail.
