Live Violence Free announces return of 80s themed Bowl-a-Thon

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Live Violence Free has announced the return of its Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser, and the community is invited! The 80s-themed event will be held at Tahoe Bowl on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Whether you are a seasoned bowler or just looking for an entertaining evening with friends and co-workers, this event is the perfect opportunity to strike up some fun while supporting Live Violence Free.

Teams of four to six bowlers will each get to play two games while enjoying discounted food and drinks. The team entry fee is only $100, and each team is asked to raise at least $500. All event proceeds will support Live Violence Free services to the community.

New this year is a fundraising incentive in the true spirit of “a-thon” to get pledges for strikes and spares that will also be donor-matched. On-site, Mike Peron will once again be the Master of Ceremonies and will celebrate the Strike and Spare challenge. In addition, there will be prizes for Best 80s-Themed Costume, Most Money Raised, and Highest Score as well as other fun games and an interactive raffle.
