11:00 p.m. UPDATE: The woman injured in Sunday’s bike accident reports no broken bones, a few stitches and is a bit sore.
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – A 39-year-old woman from Auburn, California is currently at Barton Hospital after an accident in front of the Grocery Outlet Store in South Lake Tahoe Sunday evening.
The woman was riding a small electric bicycle in a westerly direction on the sidewalk when she apparently lost control of the bike on loose gravel, causing her to fall onto the roadway where she was hit by a car, according to South Lake Tahoe Police Sgt. Jason Cheney.
