The Lake Tahoe Historical Society would like to thank all the generous donors who honored Bob “Old Long Skis” Rockwell at a celebration of life at the History Museum Complex in South Lake Tahoe.
Memories of Bob were shared by his family and friends in front of the Osgood Toll House (OTH), the oldest standing commercial building at Lake Tahoe. It was Bob’s desire to be remembered through Lake Tahoe’s history. Over $4,000 in donations were received in his memory for the restoration of the OTH. Plans for the next phase were unveiled.
