The “Spring Slider” moving across the Sierra Nevada this week has brought heavy snow to the Reno, Nev., area and widespread chain controls. South Lake Tahoe is currently seeing the sun and clear roads.
As of 9:00 a.m. Monday, March 28, there are chains controls up on several area roads.
